-Will my Ruck look like the one in the picture? What color?
Yes. But not exactly. Every pack is basically the same and will have all of the same parts but the amount of love each pack has received will be the ultimate determination of the overall look. One thing you can be sure of is that each pack will be individually hand inspected and repaired if necessary prior to reaching you... Our promise... -What color will it be?
There are two primary color options a green/olive drab and a tan khaki color. Some are even two tone and look really cool. They're all exactly the same except for the color. If you prefer one color over the other or want a two tone one just ask when you order. We'll be happy to accomodate your wishes.
-How do I make a Suggestion for a children's charity?
That's easy! Leave us a comment below along with any amplifying information that you have and send it in. We'll consider any and all charity suggestions and get back to you if we decide to use your suggestion!
-Where are these rucksacks made nowadays?
All of our rucks are Swedish made and all from the 1939-1960's. Long story short... they're not made anymore. Any "new" rucks you find online are likely reproduction packs made who knows where... All of our rucks are refurbished vintage originals and we take pride in bringing you the best specimens in the world.
-Won’t the steel frame hurt my back?
No it shouldn't. Strong harness leather straps are riveted to the frame, so that the metal never actually makes contact with your back unlike other packs. And if you have a different body shape the frame is steel so you can shape it the way you want... with a little effort.
-I've got an old M39 Swedish Rucksack, would you be interested in it?
Anything we can do to keep these outstanding rucks out of the dump and in the possession of someone who will love it! All you have to do is send us a message below. As long as the ruck is in pretty good shape we can take it from there.
-Do you sell parts for the M39?
No, not typically. But, during the course of business we do end up with spare parts and we'd be happy to make a deal so that you can fix your ruck. send us a message below and we'll put your name on our list next to the part you're looking for and we'll contact when we come across an extra one.
-Do you ship internationally?
No, not typically but exceptions are made on an individual basis. Usually this means no free shipping outside of the USA. Send us a message below and we'll get back to you with specifics and logistics of the situation.
